A PRAYER TO ALMIGHTY GOD
and
A PETITION TO VIRGINIA CANDIDATE FOR GOVERNOR BOB MCDONNELL

Dear Sir:

We the undersigned stand up for Jesus, alongside the six Virginia State Trooper Chaplains

forced to resign for praying publicly "in Jesus name."  We respectfully request you reverse

the Kaine administration's verbal policy that prohibits use of any "sectarian" language during prayers

offered by police chaplains at public events.  The word "Jesus" is not an illegal word, and its

public utterance is protected by the First Amendment (even under Turner vs. Fredericksburg).

We respectfully request you immediately reinstate the chaplains to their previous positions.

We stand with those who attended the prayer rally outside the Governor's mansion on 1 Nov 08,

at the Capitol Square Bell Tower, Richmond.  We, the undersigned, pray in Jesus' name.

This great nation was founded "under God" and we have been blessed beyond any nation in the history of civilization- but, this nation has been steadily moving away from He who has so generously blessed us and we are no longer great because of it and we SHALL and ARE reaping the benefits of this moving away from and denying God. If we do not turn back to him--not only will we cease to be great but we will cease to BE. God's punishment is just and we will not survive it...We had better be repenting and praying for forgiveness...If we do not , Satan WILL have his way with us and we will have no protection---I fear it may already be too late for our nation but it is not too late for each of our souls. Congress will reap what it sows. I implore you for your own sakes and all of our children's sake that you ask for and seek the LIGHT,ask for your hearts and minds to be open and shed the brainwashing and desensitization to evil with which this generation has been saddled. In Jesus Name, I ask this for all of us. Peace, Plato

Where are our rights for freedom to speak? Tim Kaine is a disgrace to our state!

Keep Jesus Christ in our prayers! It is ridiculous and offensive to take our savior out of our own prayers ... Jesus Christ is not an illegal name.

Please reinstate the six officers who lost their jobs because they prayed in Jesus' name. There are millions of us who pray in Jesus' name. I don't see anyone praying to allah, buddha, or Confusius being fired from their jobs. Why are these men being singled out? I was born and raised in Virginia and I am ashamed that Virginia has taken this stance and that my native state participates in this travesty of justice. You should be ashamed of yourself. And be aware that you'll reap what you sow.

The Christians will rise up and stand together. We will no longer look the other way as you destroy our country. We were founded on Christian beliefs whether you agree or not. Remember that votes mean more to the politicians then anything else....... Vote him out of office if the six police chaplains are not reinstated. Debra - Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.

This is our Constitutional right, under no circumstances can the Constitution be changed, to accommodate other countries or singular groups. This is so dangerous we have God Given freedoms to protect.

Our Constitution, and international law, grant freedom of religious expression to all, equally. Restricting the free speech of Christians will lead, inevitably, to the restriction of free speech for all.
