A PRAYER TO ALMIGHTY GOD,
and
A PETITION TO MISS USA PAGEANT PRESIDENT PAULA M. SHUGART:

Dear Sir and Ma'am:

We, the undersigned, hereby petition you to restore justice to Miss Carrie Prejean, who took a stand for marriage between one man and one woman, but was instead humiliated by a pro-homosexual judge, and was unfairly robbed of her equal opportunity to win the Miss USA pageant.

As the reigning Miss California, Carrie Prejean was favored to win the Miss USA contest, and was selected among the final two contestants.  But when asked by openly gay judge Perez Hilton, whether she believed in gay marriage, Carrie, knowing full well her Christian beliefs would cost her the title, heroically replied, "I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that marriage is between a man and a woman.  No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised."

The judges were not impartial, they were driven by an anti-Christian agenda, and they immediately voted against Carrie Prejean, costing her the title of Miss USA, and depriving her of the honor, prizes, and national respect that should be due a woman of her outstanding character.

We therefore petition you to fire the biased judge who dishonored Carrie Prejean, and replace the Miss USA crown upon Miss Prejean's head, as she properly deserves.

Should you refuse, we recognize a time will come, according to 1 Peter 5:4, when the Chief Shepherd appears, that Miss Prejean will receive a crown of glory that will never fade away.

We the undersigned pray to God, and petition Miss USA Pageant President Shugart,
in Jesus' name, Amen.

Judges for an event of such noteriety and representative of a tradition in America commands at least a trace of moral fibre and integrity. The questioning judge for Miss California is a bottom feeder which was proven by his subsequent public comments. I am ashamed of T.V. that during prime time such a display was encouraged. I have two very impressionable granddaughters that may one day have aspirations to enter a pageant. I would hate to leave them with the impression that they would have to sell out on their beliefs and good moral character in order to win! I listened to Trump say those in charge did not know the questions the judges were going to ask which I find a disingenuous in an effort to cover his backside.

It never ceases to amaze me how someone who thinks he's been discriminated against turns around and thinks it's OK for him to discriminate against someone else. How does establish fairness???? If Miss USA is truly representative of America, faith NEEDS to be included in the mix.

Regardless of who the winner should have been, the larger issue is respect for our first amendment rights and the moral fabric of our country -- obviously two issues which Donald Trump and at least one activist judge mocked and dismissed because of their twisted vested interests.

Bias and Bigotry should not be part of what a Judge is . How wrong. The Judge is supposed to be impartial about a person's personal views. Your pageant is a disgrace!

This organization is calling itself by the wrong name or is not keeping in agreement with it's name. Instead of being "Miss USA" it is acting like "Miss Politically Correct" and will reap the consequences of it's actions. Sow to the wind and you will reap the whirlwind. Do not shoot the messenger, I am doing this because I care about your future. What am I to do? Shut off the TV? The advertisers would not like that. Oh well, so sad. Too bad.

Miss California should be applauded for giving a well though out answer that was true to her own convictions.

Wanda - Sarasota, Florida

This question should have never been asked and it is unfair that Miss North Carolina was not asked the same question.....the gay judge shows his intolerance of Miss California's freedom of speech and the right to choose....he did more harm than good for his cause.

incredible! the question ( which was ill placed ) was ask and answered. If Perez didn't have the balls to respect her answer, he shouldn't have ask it. People like him, who have a volitale polital intolent agenda should not be allowed to disgrace any American pageant or any American person. The only upside to this is that Perez shows the American people the UGLY repulsive and bitter side of the face of homo's. A face that most still try to hide in the closet.
