Almighty God~ we pray for great attendance at the emergency prayer rally I will lead with many California Pastors on 5 August 2009~ at 6pm~ just before the 7pm City Council Meeting in Lodi California. God we pray they vote to allow people to pray publicly according to conscience~ even if they pray "in Jesus name~" rather than ban or silence the name of Jesus~ as atheists now demand under threat of lawsuit. Let us pray. Almighty God~ we pray for the "Christian Moms" of Navy Sailors~ who created a private group on the public forum of a government web-site~ but were told by the U.S. Navy they could not use the word "Christian" in the title of their group. God~ give "Christian Moms" equal rights to assemble~ just like the groups "Texas Moms" or "Wives of U.S.S. Never-dock~" and stop the anti-Christian viewpoint discrimination by Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus. We pray from 2nd Corinthians 8:13~ our desire is for equality. In Jesus name~ Amen.

Almighty God~ we pray you sustain a filibuster and defeat the so-called "Hate Crimes" bill that would create special legal protection for pedophilia~ incest~ voyeurism~ and up to 547 different "sexual orientations~" while threatening free speech and pastors who preach against the abomination of homosexuality and sod omy. God we pray you confound the enemy’s lies with your Truth~ and humble their proud heart to hear your prophetic voice of love~ which they call hate. Almighty God~ we pray your mercy and forgiveness upon two politicians who had publicly professed faith in Jesus Christ~ but stumbled tragically into adultery~ as both Governor Mark Sanford (R-SC) and Senator John Ensign (R-NV) recently confessed to the voters and apologized to their wives for violating their marital vows. God forgive their sins~ as they publicly confess and seek your forgiveness~ from 1st John 1:9~ if we confess our sins~ Jesus is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Cap & Trade Environmental Bill will cost millions of people their jobs
Let us pray. Almighty God~ we pray you will help the Congress prioritize the lives and health of your people over the subordinate needs of the environment~ as the House of Representatives barely passed a dangerous Cap & Trade bill this week~ despite opposition by nearly all Republicans and 44 "Blue-Dog" Conservative Democrats. The Heritage Foundation estimates this bill won’t reverse global warming~ but it will cost every family $4~000 in increased taxes per year. We pray Romans 8:20~ relieve creation’s groaning by revealing the children of God. In Jesus’ name~ Amen.

Let us pray. Almighty God~ we pray you protect key leaders of the pro-life movement~ including Randall Terry~ Flip Benham~ and especially Troy Newman of OperationRescue.org~ against whom many death threats were recently issued by pro-abortion enemies of life. God even as our leaders renounce violence themselves~ please protect them from threats of violence by others~ and give them victory as they legally defend innocent life in the womb. We pray Psalm 91~ guard them with your angels~ let not their foot strike a stone~ but let them trample on serpents. In Jesus name~ Amen.
