Petition Hawaii’s Governor To Save Traditional Marriage

"I want to wait and hear people out. I’ll also say that I’ve gone back and forth as people have written in to me—people I respect a lot."

Contrary to the polls which reveal that over 60 percent of Hawaiian constituents do not want same gender marriage to be made legal there~ legislature that would do just that has been pushed through~ passing both Hawaii’s House and Senate.

Now HB 444 is before Governor Linda Lingle for a possible veto.

Recently~ Lingle commented on the bill saying~ "I did have a chance to read the bill and it does appear to me~ on reading it~ that it really is same-sex marriage~ but by a different name."

According to reports~ Lingle is opposed to the measure~ however~ she has also said she wants to continue meeting with people on both sides of the issue.

"I want to wait and hear people out~" said Lingle. "I’ll also say that I’ve gone back and forth as people have written in to me—people I respect a lot."

For those who are concerned with the legislation~ the time to make their voices heard is now~ as Gov. Lingle must make a decision soon.

A PRAYER TO ALMIGHTY GOD~

A PETITION TO HAWAII GOVERNOR LINDA LINGLE:

Dear Sir and Ma’am:

It has come to our attention that over 60% of Hawaii voters oppose homosexual marriage~ and yet the Hawaii state legislature has passed a bad bill HB444 that re-defines traditional marriage as something other than that which God intended~ as between one man and one woman.

We respectfully petition you to VETO any attempt to legalize sod omy or homosexual marriage~ since not only do the voters of Hawaii oppose it~ but Jesus Christ himself opposed homosexual marriage~ and He defined marriage between one man and one woman in Matthew 19:5-6: 

"FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE~ AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH.  SO THEY ARE NO LONGER TWO~ BUT ONE FLESH.  WHAT THEREFORE GOD HAS JOINED TOGEHTER~ LET NO MAN SEPARATE." 

All 31 states who let the people vote have banned homosexual marriage.  Please don’t force Hawaii to establish homosexual marriage against the peoples’ will.
