Almighty God~ we rejoice with American hikers Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal who were wrongly imprisoned two years ago~ in Evin Prison~ one of the most notorious prisons in Iran~ where persecuted Christians are often sent to die. Bauer and Fattal were falsely accused of spying for America~ and after a deal to drop their eight-year sentence they paid one million dollars bail to go free from the dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Psalm 146:7 declares~ “You uphold the cause of the oppressed…The LORD sets prisoners free.” Thank You for this deliverance~ in Jesus’ name~ Amen.
