Let Us Pray. Almighty God, we are grieved by Washington State Governor Chris Gregoire’s decision to support legalizing homosexual marriage in Washington, even though homosexuality is condemned by her Catholic religion, which she knows and rationalized away when she said, “And then I came to realize the religions can decide what they want to do but it is not OK for the state to discriminate.” We pray that all Washingtonians who believe marriage is only between one man and one woman, as Genesis 2 declares, will inform Governor Gregoire of their wishes and vote accordingly, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
