Let Us Pray. Almighty God, we thank you for Rowan County commissioner Jon Barber from Raleigh, North Carolina who has said he will not stop praying in the name of Jesus or addressing God as Father at public meetings, despite threats from the ACLU saying Christian prayer is unconstitutional. We rejoice that Barber has chosen to not deny you like fifteen other government bodies that have changed their prayer policies to deny Christ. Matthew 5:11 declares, “Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, … because of Me,” in Jesus’ name, Amen.
