Almighty God, we thank you for Rowan County commissioner Jon Barber from Raleigh, North Carolina who has said he will not stop praying in the name of Jesus or addressing God as Father at public meetings, despite threats from the ACLU saying Christian prayer is unconstitutional. We rejoice that Barber has chosen to not deny you like fifteen other government bodies that have changed their prayer policies to deny Christ. Matthew 5:11 declares, “Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, … because of Me,” in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Texas Defies Obama and Defunds Planned Parenthood

Let Us Pray. Almighty God, we rejoice that Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott has signed a rule that formally bans Planned Parenthood clinics and other “affiliates of abortion providers” in Texas’ Women’s Health Program despite threats from President Obama to cut off funds through the Medicaid program. We ask for your blessing on Texas as lawmakers and leaders have boldly stood for and chosen life, as you command in Deuteronomy 30:19 – “…I have set before you life and death…so choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants,” in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Senate Democrats Refuse to Protect Churches from Forced Abortion Pills

Let Us Pray. Almighty God, we grieve that the Senate voted 51-48 against Senator Roy Blunt’s Respect for Rights of Conscience Act which would exempt religious employers from Obamacare regulations that force them to distribute free abortion pills in their insurance plans, including drugs like Plan B and Ella, which cause abortions. By rejecting this amendment, now people in religious organizations are forced to offer drugs that violate their conscience, revealing again from Proverbs 29:2, that when the righteous rule, the people rejoice, when the wicked rule, the people groan. God help us repeal Obamacare, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

TX Court: Churches Can’t Petition Government

Almighty God, we ask that You would thwart the efforts of the District Attorney, City Council and the Supreme Court in El Paso, Texas who have stopped a recall election of Mayor John Cook and City Council Representatives Susie Byrd and Steve Ortega because Christians were involved in the recall effort, after Christian citizens voted against approved domestic partner benefits and the council ignored the will of the people. We pray for the case to go forward and ask this according to John 14:13, so glory would come to the Father, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Christian Parents can’t teach Homeschoolers that Homosexual Sex is Sin

Let Us Pray. Almighty God, we ask that you would condemn the government of Alberta, Canada who are now forcing homeschoolers and religious schools to teach their children that homosexuality and gay sex is a “natural and normal.” Under the Education Act, homeschoolers and religious schools will be banned from “disrespecting” people’s differences, essentially silencing anything the Bible teaches that the Canadian government disagrees with. Help parents to obey Proverbs 22:6 and train up their children according to the Bible, regardless of consequences, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Almighty God, we pray for Barbara Johnson, who is a practicing lesbian who recently buried her mother and was denied communion at the funeral service because the Reverend Marcel Guarnizo of St. John Neumann Catholic Church, refused to give her communion because of her sinful lifestyle. We ask for her to be convicted of her sin, and to come to a place of repentance because you desire none to perish from 2 Peter 3:9 Help her to stop her vendetta against the priest for doing his job biblically and instead repent of her own sin. 32 Percent of Israeli’s Do Not Want to Attack Iran

Let Us Pray. Almighty God, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem from Psalm 122:6 and ask for your protection over Israel and her leaders and allies since Iran continues to threaten to destroy Israel. Israeli’s revealed that they do not want to go to war, and 19 percent of Israelis support Israel carrying out a strike to destroy Iran’s nuclear weapons factories without U.S support while 42% endorsed a strike only if there is American support. And a third of Israelis–32%–opposed an attack altogether regardless of American support. God bring peace to Your land, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
