Almighty God, we rejoice that Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott has signed a rule that formally bans Planned Parenthood clinics and other “affiliates of abortion providers” in Texas’ Women’s Health Program despite threats from President Obama to cut off funds through the Medicaid program. We ask for your blessing on Texas as lawmakers and leaders have boldly stood for and chosen life, as you command in Deuteronomy 30:19 – “…I have set before you life and death…so choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants,” in Jesus’ name, Amen.
