Let us pray. Almighty God, we pray you bless Missouri voters with religious freedom, after Judge Pat Joyce defeated ACLU complainers and ruled to allow a “public prayer freedom” ballot initiative to go forward this November to voters. Now 51% of “show-me” staters can amend their Constitution to give “the right in Missouri to pray in public places as long as doing so does not disturb the peace.” From 1st Thessalonians 5:17, Christians must “pray without ceasing.” That means we pray both privately and publicly, alone and in groups, unashamed to proclaim Christ and pray, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
