Let us pray. Almighty God, we are greatly encouraged that 68% of polled Americans favor a government recognized “National Day of Prayer” which again drew millions of participants this past Thursday. We earnestly pray 2 Chronicles 7:14, “if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” God we humble ourselves, we pray, we seek your face, and we repent, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
