Let us pray. Almighty God, we are concerned that atheist complainers have demanded removal of yet another memorial cross, honoring veterans since 1921 in Rhode Island. Whatever one may believe about the “Separation of Church and State”, the constitution never intended to separate the American People from the “God we Trust” (Psalm 37:3). May the cross on the Woonsocket, RI war memorial which symbolizes your sacrifice for us, likewise remind us of the lives of the patriots who died in service to a grateful nation, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
