Let us pray. Almighty God, we thank you that the Colorado House of Representatives recently defeated a bill to legalize same-sex civil unions in Colorado. Your Word warns us to “Avoid sexual immorality” (1 Thess. 4:17). We pray You forgive and sanctify those in our nation who seek to legislate immorality, and we pray that you would transform the hearts of those who continue to vote bad leaders into public office. Enable our leaders to lead America back to our roots in purity, righteousness, and justice, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
