Let us pray. Almighty God, we pray that You will make the U.S. Supreme Court reverse the bad decision by the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which struck down the Town of Greece’s (New York) longstanding policy of allowing prayers “in Jesus’ name” before public meetings. Your Word says, “Oh give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name” (1 Chron. 16:8). Our public officials desperately need Jesus’ name to rule with wisdom. We pray that free speech would be restored, so all citizens and pastors may pray as their consciences dictates, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Let us pray. Almighty God, we thank You that lawmakers in Kansas have passed a bill that prevents state courts and agencies from basing their decisions on Muslim Sharia Law or on any other foreign legal codes. Your Word says, “If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand” (Mark 3:25). By your grace, we pray that You will unite our governing officials under the Judeo-Christian principles on which the United States was founded. We pray that the United States will once again become a beacon of righteousness, in Jesus name. Amen.

Let us pray. Almighty God, we are grieved that a federal judge has overturned a Utah court’s decision to make internet operators liable for showing pornographic content that harms minor children. Jesus said, “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe to stumble, it would be better for him if, with a heavy millstone hung around his neck, he had been cast into the sea” (Mark 9:42). For righteousness’ sake, we pray that you would reverse this decision and punish internet operators who profit by perverting the minds of children, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

We pray You forgive and sanctify those in our nation who seek to legislate immorality, and we pray that you would transform the hearts of those who continue to vote bad leaders into public office. Enable our leaders to lead America back to our roots in purity, righteousness, and justice, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Almighty God, we are grieved that the Obama Administration and Nancy Pelosi “strongly object” to two good House defense authorization amendments that would prohibit the use of military chapels for same-sex “marriage or marriage-like” ceremonies, and would protect military chaplains from negative reprisals for refusing to perform homosexual ‘marriage’ ceremonies. Your Word says, “With the pure You show Yourself pure” (2 Sam. 22:27). God give U.S. Senators courage to keep these two good amendments in the Senate version of this bill, or at least during conference committee negotiations, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Your Word says, “For the Lord is righteous, He loves righteousness” (Psa. 11:7). We pray You would empower us to speak the truth in love, as Manny did, and protect him from anti-Christian persecution and censorship. Help us to always love righteousness more than political correctness and popular opinion, for God’s approval is all we seek, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

God give them freedom and a big microphone to speak truth. Your Word says, “I have come to bring life and life more abundantly” (John 10:10), so we thank you for how You have used Chen to expose the horrific, state-sponsored abortion practices of the Chinese government. We pray You will continue to use him as a prophetic voice of justice for the unborn, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
