Almighty God, we thank you that a Christian boycott of Groupon, the couponing service used by millions of young people, has forced the company to end its promotion of pornographic companies such as Kink and Playboy. Your Word says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations” (Matt. 28:19). God, our marketplace and culture is lost without the light of Your Spirit shown through Your Church. We pray that you would continue to make Your Church a prophetic voice in our corrupted culture, and forgive our nation’s sins, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Almighty God, we are grieved that a pro-homosexual Army chaplain has officiated the first-ever homosexual ‘wedding’ ceremony in a military chapel, between two lesbian soldiers at Fort Polk in Louisiana. Your Word says, “For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality” (1 Thess. 4:3). We pray You forgive our nation for rampant sexual immorality that we even institutionalize it. We pray You bring an end to sexual perversion and defend traditional marriage = 1 man + 1 woman, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Let us pray. Almighty God, we praise You that the Washington State Governor’s legalization of homosexual marriage was temporarily blocked by the state’s voters, who will soon hold a referendum. Your Word says, “Prove yourselves doers of the word, not merely hearers who delude themselves” (James 1:22). Thank God Christian voters have taken action in obedience of Your mandate to stand for righteousness in our perverted culture. Help us to allow Your redemptive power to work through us to defend righteousness and the traditional family, for the sake of our children and our nation, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Christian Photographer Fined $7,000 for Refusing Lesbian ‘Wedding’

Almighty God, we ask you to grant justice to Christian photographers Elaine and Jonathan Huegeunin who were fined $7,000 by a New Mexico judge and Appeals Court for refusing to photograph a “commitment” ceremony between a lesbian couple. Your Word says, “Let Him weigh me with accurate scales, And let God know my integrity” (Job 31:6). Thank God for the courage and boldness of the photographers, who took a valiant stand for righteousness and conscience, and we pray that the State or Federal Supreme Court will reverse this unjust decision, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Almighty God, we grieve that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals rejected an appeal by Christian voters in California who twice passed Proposition 8 to define traditional marriage, but were overruled by activist federal judges. We pray the U.S. Supreme Court will choose to hear this case, and protect traditional marriage and the rights of all voters. Your Word says, “In the image of God He created him; male and female, He created them” (Gen. 1:27). God defend defense righteousness, families, a strong society, and the institution of marriage as You created it, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
