Let us pray. Almighty God, we pray that our society will heed the sobering findings from a recent study that indicates children of parents who practiced homosexuality were more likely to be on welfare, have a greater history of depression, have less education, and encounter far more sexual abuse. Your Word says, “Permit the children to come to [Jesus], and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Luke 18:16). Help protect every child’s right to grow up in a home with one Christian mother and one Christian father, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Almighty God, we thank You that a South Carolina school district has reversed its previous ruling that prohibited a “Student of the Year” from being able to quote a verse from the Book of Proverbs in her graduation speech. We are encouraged that this young student leader may now freely and publicly quote Proverbs 13:14: “The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.” Help Your Church to disciple more young leaders to be committed to teaching Biblical principals in our society, in Jesus’ name. Almighty God, we thank You that officials of the Boy Scouts of America have not surrendered to political pressure from liberal organizations to allow openly-homosexual people to lead their boys’ groups. Your Word says, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it” (Prov. 22:6). We thank you that these young boys will be spared from the harmful recruiting efforts of homosexual perverts. We pray that You will send righteous leaders to help these boys develop into righteous men of God, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

We pray You help us follow the godly examples of military leaders like George Washington, who upheld the critical importance of the Bible as a source of guidance and inspiration in the military. We pray Pentagon leaders will grow a spine and stop caving in to atheist complainers who hate religious freedom of the press, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Your Word says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD” (Psa. 33:12a). We pray that the Church of England would not back down from demonstrating and proclaiming Your Word throughout the nation. Impart Your wisdom to the British government, guiding them on the path of righteousness in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Almighty God, we thank You that a New York District Court has ruled that a Christian man in Buffalo, New York must not be banned from this year’s Italian Festival after being threatened by police to stop sharing his faith on public sidewalks. The Bible says of Jesus’ disciples, “And there they continued preaching the gospel” (Acts 14:7). We pray that You would bless and protect this evangelist. Despite opposition from liberal groups, we thank You for the courage of the courts to rule in his favor, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Doctor Found Guilty of “Malpractice” for Talking about Jesus

Almighty God, we thank You for the testimony of the Christian doctor Richard Scott in Britain, who was recently found guilty of “malpractice” by the General Medical Counsel Board simply because he shared his Christian faith with a patient. Your Word says, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick” (Mark 2:17). We pray You honor this doctor’s commitment to ministering to the spiritual needs of his patients as well as their physical needs, and uphold doctors’ freedom to help their patients, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
