Let us pray. Almighty God, we are grieved that Charlotte-Mecklenburg NC Police Department Major John Diggs recently decided to censor police chaplains from praying in Jesus’ name. Your Word says, “I am the Lord, that is My name” (Isa. 42:8). We pray against the Devil’s scheme to inoculate the power of prayer by removing Jesus as the One through Whom our prayers are directed to God. We pray that religious freedom of speech would be restored, so all policemen will continue to receive the spiritual care that only Christ can offer, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Franklin County Allows Prayer Despite Threats from ACLU

Let us pray. Almighty God, we are encouraged by the decision of the Franklin County Commission in Missouri to continue praying before its public meetings, despite a lawsuit threatened by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). Your Word says, “Draw near to Me, and I will draw near to you” (Jam. 4:8). We pray against the Devil’s strategy to discourage these governing officials from allowing public prayer in their meetings, and to rob them of their reliance on Your wisdom and power. We thank You that the ACLU’s lawsuit will not succeed, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Abortionists Feed Babies to Dogs to Hide Evidence

Let us pray. Almighty God, we are appalled that two abortionists in India, a married couple, fed to the dogs the remains of dead human baby girls, to hide evidence of their sex-selective abortions. As Jesus was dying on the cross, He cried out on our behalf, “Father, forgive them for they do not know what they do” (Luke 23:34). As you have led us to repentance with your mercy and kindness, we pray that these abortionists would also experience Your love and forgiveness and be delivered from their murderous lifestyles, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Almighty God, we thank You that two anti-Christian executives at Alabama Public Television were fired for reportedly disobeying their commissioner’s order to air history videos presenting evidence that America was founded with a Christian heritage. Your Word says, “Do not move the ancient boundary which your fathers have set” (Prov. 22:28). We thank You for the courage of APT’s commissioner to air content that explains the Christian heritage of the United States. We pray these videos would inspire viewers to reclaim America for Christ, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Let us pray. Almighty God, we petition You on behalf of military chaplains that are being censored from praying in Jesus’ name, and sharing what the Bible teaches about homosexual sin and homosexual marriage, and expressing other aspects of their Christian faith. Like Peter and John in the first century, these chaplains “cannot stop speaking about what [they] have seen and heard” (Acts 4:20). We pray that our society’s blinded spiritual eyes would be opened so we will want nothing more than to see You exalted in our nation, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Sweden Repents of Abducting 10-Year-Old Homeschooled Boy

Let us pray. Almighty God, we are grateful that the 10-year-old boy abducted by the Swedish government in 2009 for being homeschooled by his parents will be released back to his parents. Your Word says that You will “turn the hearts of children to their fathers” (Mal. 4:6). Despite what the Swedish government has done to tear this child apart from his parents, we pray that You will protect every parent’s right to train their children at home in the Christian faith, and protect all homeschooling laws for the children’s sake, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Let us pray. Almighty God, we grieve for a Chinese mother who was forced to allow the Chinese government to kill her pre-born baby during the seventh month of pregnancy, despite a Chinese law prohibits abortions after the sixth month. Your Word says that Jesus has “come to give life” (John 10:10). We pray for an end to the diabolical practice of murdering unborn babies throughout the world. Forgive those that practice such evil acts, and we ask that your kindness would lead them to repentance, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
