Let us pray. Almighty God, we pray that You will protect the citizens of Colorado from the fierce wildfire that has swept through Waldo Canyon, and we pray You send rain to extinguish this destructive blaze. Your Word says, “He will give His angels charge concerning you” (Psa. 91:11). We pray You send Your angels to protect these people and their possessions. For those who have already experienced loss, we pray that Your Holy Spirit will deeply comfort them and somehow redeem these tragedies for Your glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
