Let’s worship the risen Lord Jesus, who forgives our sins and restores our access to God our Creator and Heavenly Father. By His voluntary crucifixion and shed blood on the cross of Calvary, Jesus paid the penalty for our sins, so we can receive eternal life.
Here’s a special, life-changing prayer we should all say aloud today: “Father in Heaven, we invite you to rule our hearts today. We are so grateful to you God, that You chose to become a man, born to a virgin, and revealed Yourself to us as God the Son, fully human and fully God. As the person of Jesus, You paid the sacrifice for our sins to be forgiven, when you embraced the cross and died as our substitute. As the risen Christ, Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, and made it possible for us to be raised from the dead someday to inherit eternal life. God please forgive our sins, and let any punishment or destruction “pass over” us, as we apply Christ’s atoning blood to the doorpost of our hearts. Jesus please forgive my sins and rule my life as Lord and Savior. Move into my heart and indwell me by the power of your Holy Spirit. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”

I met these Christian orphans in India. I sang with them. They love Jesus!

I met the Persecuted Pastors and Orphans of India
Dr. Chaps first reported this live from India last summer: The 2008 persecution of Christians in Orissa, India was vastly under-reported, but left destruction that still hurts in 2013. Thousands of fanatical Hindus rioted with weapons and drove Christians out of their homes in the genocide of the Khandhamal district.
60,000 Christians fled their homes.
93 confirmed dead pastors and Christian leaders.
7,000 Christian houses were burned.
360 Churches were destroyed.
1 Roman Catholic nun was gang raped in public.
Today in Orissa I visted her church, and spoke to that nun personally on the phone.
Rev. Sister Meena was just 23 and celibate. Read her story here. She told me “I forgive those who raped me, because when I pray the ‘Our Father’ and Jesus says ‘as we forgive others’ then I cannot pray the Lord’s prayer sincerely unless I forgive them.” Wow.
The pain remains in the tearful eyes of the Christian orphans of dead pastors.
Pastors were killed, systematically, mafia style, leaving scores of children orphaned.
The unconstitutional state law of Orissa requires pastors get a government permit to water-baptize converts. Pastors get government approval, but then their names are quietly given to mafia-style hit-men who assassinate the pastors. (***Think about that.***)

I taught at one orphanage where 17 of the 83 children’s parents are dead pastors.
Children of dead pastors, left behind by Hindu fanatics who systematically killed 93 Christian leaders. Some pastors, wives, and children fled their homes to the jungle, and died of snake-bite. Many who returned home were killed by the rioting Hindu mob.
I am seeing first-hand results of systematic genocide by radical Hindu fanatics against peaceful Christians here. Very few Hindus were brought to justice by the courts, but some were briefly jailed. Christians bold enough to testify in court can never return home. Those who refuse to “re-convert” to Hinduism risk losing the legal deed to their land.
