I had the high privilege of interviewing THE Duck Commander Phil Robertson, patriarch of the family on Duck Dynasty on the A&E television cable network. If you remember a couple years ago he was told by his TV producers to stop praying “in Jesus’ name” at the dinner table in his own home, and references to Christ were censored by editors of his program. But Phil took a stand for Christ, and refused to compromise by watering down his prayers or denying Christ.
As the former Navy Chaplain who dared to pray “in Jesus’ name” against government orders, I felt a certain kinship to the Duck Commander, who took a stand like I did.
But he didn’t stop talking there.
Phil Robertson went on to explain his feelings about Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, and how both the Republican and Democrat parties could benefit by hiring him as a spiritual advisor to their campaigns and candidates.
I hope you enjoy watching our interview as much as I did hearing it live.
