Let us pray. Almighty God, we thank You that the California Senate is now considering a bill that would protect the non-profit status of churches whose clergy refuse to perform homosexual “marriage” ceremonies. Your Word says, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” (Isa. 5:20) We pray that you will give these policymakers the courage to pass this bill to ensure that clergy are not forced to decide between disobeying God and obeying the government, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
