This petition requests that you CO-SPONSOR and PASS the LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION Act. This fully Constitutional bill applies what you already know is true, if you search your conscience.

This law would simply define the terms: HUMAN PERSON; HUMAN BEING - The terms 'human person' and 'human being' include each member of the species homo sapiens at all stages of life, including the moment of fertilization, cloning, or other moment at which an individual member of the human species comes into being.

This does not violate the Constitution, it implements the 14th Amendment which states: "...nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

This is the same dicta explained by Justice Blackmun in Roe v. Wade, who said: "If this suggestion of personhood is established, the appellant's case, of course, collapses, for the fetus' right to life would then be guaranteed specifically by the [14th] Amendment."

Science has proven that life begins at conception, when a unique set of DNA is created for the first time in a mother's womb. This new life is not the woman's body, it is her child's body, a unique and innocent person created in the image of God. The baby deserves the same right to life.

End the holocaust and genocide which has destroyed 57 million Americans since 1973. If you believe in equal rights for all, PASS the LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION ACT.
