Almighty God~ we pray for our persecuted Christian brothers and sisters in Iraq who continue to grieve loss of life~ and threats of violence by terrorist al-Qaida insurgents who promised more attacks this Christmas season. As a result of these threats~ Christians have canceled their public celebrations of the Savior’s birth and were warned to not even decorate their homes. Lord~ Isaiah 9:6 says You are the Prince of Peace~ and we ask for Your peace to cover and protect our family suffering for Christ this Christmas in Iraq. In Jesus Name~ Amen.

Preacher Anthony Rollins was awarded 4~250 pounds and Preacher Dale Mc Alpine’s was awarded 7000 pounds and the police were ordered to pay both of their legal fees. We thank God that justice was done in these cases~ and from Hebrews 10:38 we declare the Lord rewards those who are just and live by faith. In Jesus Name~ Amen.

4. Wednesday 29 Dec 10 One-Minute Prayer: Utah Crosses Removed and Denied Appeal Let Us Pray. Almighty God~ we are saddened by the federal appeals court who refused to reconsider a previous decision to remove roadside memorial crosses which had honored fallen Utah Highway Patrol Christian officers~ after American Atheist complainers insisted the memorial crosses violate the Constitution~ which they pretend forbids any religious expression. We recall 1 Corinthians 1:18: the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing~ but to those who are being saved it’s the power of God. Almighty God~ we pray for the Christian mother of an executed prisoner who is not allowed to pray at her son’s tomb and who also was not able to give her son a Christian burial~ in keeping with his faith. Please grant her comfort from Matthew 5:4~ “Blessed are those who mourn~ for they will be comforted.” And God publish her story worldwide to proclaim her faith~ and her son’s faith in Jesus Christ~ even during this time of mourning the loss of her son.
